All of us fans of Sarah J Maas definitely must have heard the updates! (But here they are again for you)
The next two books in the A Court of Thorns and Roses (ACOTAR) series have publishing dates!
ACOTAR 6 - October 27th, 2026
ACOTAR 7 - January 12th, 2027
If you haven't watched the Call Her Daddy interview with Maas yet, I HIGHLY recommend.
But when you do... beware of spoilers.
However, I watched it with only reading the ACOTAR series previously and I had no problems with spoilers, so maybe you won't either.
With the big announcement out of the way, lets get into the Kylie Rose Writes announcements.
I have planned out the next seven months of reading to prepare for ACOTAR 6.

That brings us to the Sunday before the release of ACOTAR 6!
You're probably thinking that I am crazy for the dates and timelines that I picked for these books and reads, but hear me out. I took reference for the placement of The Assassin's Blade from a friend who is doing this read along with me... who has already read the series and thought it would be best to read it after Heir of Fire.
(I have not read the Throne of Glass series before this book clubbing experience)
I have also placed these reads on a timeline that should work out for people with busier schedules and might take a little more time digesting the book as they read. I chose these dates based off of my own full-time life, as well as the number of pages in the book (according to Google).
When ACOTAR 6 is officially on shelves, there will be another "Shelf Care" plan released including ACTOR 6 and The Crescent City series. Before ACOTAR 7 on January 12, 2026.
Thought Bubble: I was planning on re-reading ACOTAR 6, before the release date of 7. Would y'all want that included in the next book club plans, too?
The reason I ask is because in Sarah J. Maas' interview on Call Her Daddy, Maas mentioned the unique plotting for these next three ACOTAR books. They are having a specific arc shared between the three. Book 6 being part one, while Book 7 containing parts 2 &3, and the future book 8 containing the final part. I feel like it would make sense to read 6 again before book 7, but that also might just be my writer brain going crazy. Please send help...
Now with all that fun stuff out of the way... we need to get this book club underway.
